Is anybody buying from magiccardsandgames.com?

If some one have ever used this online shop, I want to know your experience.

This is rather a long story.

I used to be buying DDM cases from www.grandslamsportscards.com. I bought several times for 2 years and having no problems. The packages always reached me within one week (I am living in Japan).

I used to be using their preferred customer catalogue, which was a catalogue with slightly cheaper prices for repeaters. But when I tried to order Blood War cases, I could not reach the preferred customer pages. So I sent an e-mail to the webmaster.

Then he re-direct me to another site, www.magiccardsandgames.com. By following his instruction, I could got a membership (no fee) and ordered my Blood War cases.

But it was 2 weeks ago. And though I am sending several e-mails since then, there was no reply.

It is OK if the package is just in a little delay. But as there is no reply from them, I am a little bit nervous.

Both of he websites are still running. And according to the contact/about us information, both "Grand Slam Sports Cards" and "Magic Cards And Games" are in the same physical place. Grand Slam Sports Cards has contact e-mail address but I could not find it for Magic Cards And Games. The confirmation of the order was sent from this adress.

I hope this is just a regular delay of US postal service air-mail. But if you know something about those shops, would you please tell me?

They are here in Georgia. It could be a customs thing. They maybe holding it up there. How was it sent USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL or another company? Do you have tracking information?

When I was using the previous site, they were using UPS and that was trackable. But it seems that in the new site they are using US Postal Airmail.

The customs form should have a tracking number. If they kept a copy of it they should be able to give you the number. USPS takes several days to ship overseas. I would use FedEx or UPS for international if I had a choice. Airmail is faster than surface. Encourage them to provide future customers with tracking information.

I just spoke with a mail carrier. She said that if it was sent by airmail it should not take two weeks. My guess is Customs here or in Japan may have it. You might want to check with your Postal Service or customs. They might be able to help if the store can not.

Thank you very much. I will try.

I asked to Japanese custom office. They said, when using postal service, I should have received an announce (usually a post card) if the parcel is held in the custom. And I have not.

And they nor Japanese postal service office cannot track a particular parcel without the number or the parcel.

I sent another e-mail to grslam@bellsouth.net today and asked the tracking number. I hope they will reply soon.

Magic Cards and Games gave me reply finally, and wrote me the tracking number. According to the USPS page, my package has departed from USA on November 23rd. So those packeges should be either on the air or on Japan custom (more likely). I will ask Japan Post about it.

That's good news. If it's just miniatures and they filled out the papers correctly it should not take much longer to get to you.
