heh, that was a great little history/anaylsis. I still have it around somewhere... along with my hundred plus collection of chick tracts! I love those things. They are just so bad.

I'd considered doing a gurps campaign in the world of jack chick once... where satanist cabals really did exist in every small town, and little imps and angels constantly influenced people, and you could convert a total stranger with two minutes of stuff they'd already heard a million times before... I couldn't decide if the PCs would be angels or people though...

You know, not only is he sincere, he has ghost artists who are right there with him... scarey thought number 2.

Is Jack Chick still alive? The man has got to be in his 70's or 80's now, if he is.

Whisperfoot, is your friend aware that Jack Chick was one of the CREATORS of the "D&D is evil" line of thought in the 80's? To me, he is to the "D&D is evil" movement what Tolkien is to Modern Fantasy.

edit: one of the arguments for parody always stemmed from J.C. = Jesus Christ = Jack Chick. but that is always discredited.
