This thread will be for my various rantings, problems, etc. Since most of them will deal with Games in play on this board, I've decided to post it here. PLS don't move it moderators, or close it.. If you think something I say here is too off topic, or shouldn't be posted at all, pls talk to me about it instead of closing/moving the thread, ok? I'ld appreciate it.

Also, I'ld ask that nobody responds to this except Moderators. If you have something to say to me regarding any of my posts here, e-mail them to me. If you REALLY think it NEEDS to be posted in this thread, then ok, but I'ld just prefer it.

First rant:
RE: My Imperial/Republic game.

ARGH!!!!
I'm really really REALLY wishing I didn't go bowling last night. Not only did i hurt my shoulder, but If I'ld been at home I would've been able to post there early enough to prevent the ending of a game I was looking forward to.

What would I have said? OH, something along the lines of: "EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" Contrary to popular beleif I don't blame anyone for the demise of the game, not even myself. If certain un-named people beleive that they were acting the way their character would, then That's THEIR choice, as it's THEY who created the character.
I think the problem was everybody arguing about it to death.
(Offtopic: I may have just started the same thing happening in the "If Thoughts Could Kill" Campaign, but in a different way.. I really hope not, but I may have.)

Also, to cite another problem I have that's related.
In regards to the closing of the thread: I'ld just like to know WHY exactly it was closed.. I saw no political debates (Unless you count Imperial VS Republic), and I don't THINK there were any personal attacks, though by the end I was a bit.. um, too perturbed to pay alot of attention.
Granted it wasn't MY thread, but the closing of it gave me no place to respond to in order to attempt some sort of fix (Although it's irrelevant at this point, and I apologize to all those who created such fine characters that this happened)

Contrary to my first post, I WOULD appreciate a reply from whichever Mod closed the "Imperial smack-talk" thread. By no means am I demanding a reason, I'm just curious. If In fact there was name-calling, and/or personal attacks, that's fine, but if not I would like to know why.

OH, and while you're at it, could you tell me if I'll be allowed to keep this thread on this board or not?

I don't know anything about your Imperial Smack Talk Thread, but I'm betting that it was closed for a good reason. As for being allowed to keep this thread on the board, I'm thinking the answer is no, but I'll help you out in that respect.

There's this thing called LiveJournal that I've heard about (but never used) that allows you to keep an entire area of the site (similar to this little thread of yours) devoted to your own personal experiences and rantings. What you could do, I assume, is make your journal 'open' for others to view, and then link to it in your profile. That solves your problem, and keeps it off site.

As for your questions about a moderator closing your thread, why not ask about it in an email to the moderators rather than in a post. Putting it in a post is making it public, when it's really a private thing. If you want to ask in a thread, I'll point you to the right forum: Meta.

Now I'm closing this.
