John Doe (Possible Spoilers)

Crothian

First Post
I think the series needs its own thread. It's one of the best new series I've seen in a while. It's well done and has a nice little thing going for it. I have no idea if it can actually keep up without getting either rediculus or stupid, but I'm willing to give it a try. Any other thoughts?

Been impressed with this show too. Amazing to me how quickly case and story line has come together.

I am thinking he some form of nano clone but it is way too early to tell. It seems he may have an interface with something, in that his knowledge is self-updating, unless he is always gathering more and more information.

I don't think thats it exactly... its not that he CAN know anything, its that he does. The way he reflexivly can answer things, without having to even consider the question, makes me think hes not getting it from a computer or something.

WEll, at the end of the second episode when that organization printed out his picture with the story then the showed the city, was it Jueruslem? I taped it and watched it around 3am so I was sort of tired and not too sure what city it was. I think they might be hinting at a religious explanation here. And that was one I never thought of.

Mmmmm a clone of Christ or atleast a genic makeup of his DNA. But they lost him, how?

Where do you get that DNA though? You might be right or it might be something like the second coming. It's really hard to say at this point after only two episodes. .

Well not to long ago, there was an episode on the updated Outer Limits show. There they took the DNA from the Shroud of Turin and implanted THAT into a woman. Thus "Christ" was reborn. Course it didn't turn out like people expected BUT it was one of the better ones I've ever seen.

Also there's that whole the "bloodline" of Christ by some grail scholars.

It is just a ramdom thought taking things from the news an appling it to the show. Big thing in science at this time is gene sequence replacement, if you took a person and replaced selected genes what would your results be. An example that has been in the news, the green glowing mice.

I just hope they keep us guessing and do not give us too many answers too soon.
