Kerall just learned the hard way that good will alone isn't enough when it comes to fighting evil. He is still puzzled about the gift of money. He had... quite some experience with devils, and an unexpected gift, without oaths or contracts attached seems strange.
He goes to an inn to rest and recover from the sore beating, and stares for a long time at the ten normal coins, maybe hoping to pry the secrets of their former owner.
Still a positive thinker, he doesn't let the strange occurence trouble him too much. He had heard Darkwolf needed money. Perhaps now he could help. Kerall seeks Darkwolf and gives him the money he had before meeting Kazz't. "When I was bound to a fiend, some men of Honor and Light helped me. Now it's my turn to help."
Then, he goes shopping. Money is unimportant. What you can buy with it, on the other hand...
He gets a wonderful kama from a seller of exotic weapons. The blade is simply perfect, and the steel is the finest quality known to men. Ah... now this is a weapon!
