Thank's for the link, but I think I'll just use my own unfinished 'Borg'-template. I'll just drop the hivemind and add a couple of torpedos... :D Anyways, does anyone know where I can find the stats for the common turtle or a planarian?

Anyways, the next anthropomorph I'll be doing is eveyones favourite Ronin Hare: Usagi Yojimbo! :D

Looking forward to it, Krishnath.

BTW, I'm taking a bit of a break from this thread, as I'm involved in something important that's taking up more and more of my time. I will be lurking on the thread to check out new critters from anyone who wants to post here, so don't let my absence stop you.

I will get back to posting more critters here eventually but until then I'm leaving Krishnath in charge of the thread (you don't mind do you Krish?). Post whatever you like here within the boundries that the base creature starts out as a humanoid, monstrous humanoid, or giant. Of course, anthropomorphs are fine too, and fey are acceptable as long and they're humanoid-like fey.

Cheers!

p.s. I really don't feel comfortable discussing 'the project' I'm working so please don't ask.

Knightfall: No prob.

Devon: Interresting, but I think the Dex is to low, and shouldn't the damage reduction be 7/bludgeoning? As you can deal a lot more damage to a turtle with a hammer than with a dagger.

Anyways: USAGI YOJIMBO, or rather his race.

The nukigu is a reclusive race of humanoid hares from the orient.
A nukigu resembles a short human with the proportionate head of a hare, their skin is covered in fur, usually of the color grey, although white, black, brown, or red colored fur is quite common. Their eyes can be of any color although brown is the most common. A nukigu stands about five feet tall, not counting the ears, which usually account for an additional foot.
Nukigu are peaceful farmers, but can be terrible opponents if angered as all Nukigu are schooled in the art of combat. They are also very honorable and look down upon those who lack honor.
Nukigu speak their own language and common. Those of exceptional intelligence often learn the spirit language as well.

Combat:
Nukigu farmers tend to favor the Bo stick (quarterstaff) in combat, while other nukigu use whatever weapons are appopriate for their class. If they have time to set up the combat field, they will often build simple but effective traps in an attempt to minimize their own casualties.
Skills: The nukigu gets a +4 racial bonus on Jump checks and a +2 racial bonus on listen checks. The nukigu uses it's Dex rather that Str as a modifier to it's jump checks and when determing how far and high it can jump.

Nukigu Characters:
A Nukigus favored class is samurai, and most Nukigu leaders are samurai. A few Nukigu take up the mantle of Ronin, but this is rarely of their own choosing. Nukigu Shamans usually choose from among the following domains: Ancestor, Community, Hero, Nature, and Travel, but are by no means limited to these choices.

What do you think? I used the stats for the Hare from Dragon #280.

I wouldn't go much higher than 6, then...

and shouldn't the damage reduction be 7/bludgeoning? As you can deal a lot more damage to a turtle with a hammer than with a dagger.

Yeah, my apologies -- my thinking was pretty backward on that -- I was thinking of piercing weapons in a coup de grace situation (stick a dagger in the hole and make turtle soup) but bludgeoning makes more sense... I'm actually more inclined to call it DR 7/--, but DR 7/bludgeoning could work.
