Knowledge: Arts and Literature

I thought that especially the bards who focus on artistic performs needed a right knowledge skill for them.
In the real middle-ages and renaissance usually the artists had a very good knowledge of preceding artists and artworks, and no other D&D skill could be used in substitution (IMHO bardic knowledge is casual pieces of info found around, and not a systematic study of such a definite topic).

The skill would be class skill for Bard, Wizard (they have all) and probably Cleric (at least from an historical point of view; most of the clerics won't take it anyway due to low skill points and int bonus).

In 3.5 rules, where Knowledge gives synergy, this skill could give synergy bonus to Perform (all subskills, probably). If it's too much, maybe you can reduce it to +1 to all subskills, or no synergy at all.

What do you think ?
