If it quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, probably ain't a rhinoceros.Who agreed that the rules revisions aren't major? Very much up to debate at this point.
Better for the game. Stability is what is needed, not the mess that trying to monetize mechanics brought.I can't disagree with that. The game itself, in any form, is clearly not the priority anymore.
We are not going to agree on this.If it quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, probably ain't a rhinoceros.
Doesn't change the facts on the ground. Which can be worked out in the numbers. It's right there for anyone who is curious. We are not going to agree on this.
Since you're on record as saying that getting more people to buy the game should be WotC's highest priority, I'm not surprised this is your take.Better for the game. Stability is what is needed, not the mess that trying to monetize mechanics brought.
Doesn't necessarily change the core math, but I do not believe that's the most important part of the game.Doesn't change the facts on the ground. Which can be worked out in the numbers. It's right there for anyone who is curious.
Yes, theybare a game company. Alienating and dividing players isn't desirable for their business, but neither would that be beneficial for the game community, which is whybl WotC is shying away from the word Edition due to the previous abuse of the term.Since you're on record as saying that getting more people to buy the game should be WotC's highest priority, I'm not surprised this is your take.
Literally all there is to the hame: the core math and fluff.Doesn't necessarily change the core math, but I do not believe that's the most important part of the game.
I think WoTC will try and encourage people to move digital. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some deals etc to get people to join D&D beyond but I am equally certain they are not going to abandon print. It certainly implies that WotC wants to. And I think that's quite true.
