Knightfall
World of Kulan DM
The Crossed Candles
I'll take a look. I like that Neurotic already has an idea, so I don't have to spend too much time on it, though.@JustinCase, let me know if there is anything from the posted Treasure List list that you want to try to claim for Tuck?
I have asked the same question to @Aust Thale, @ScottDeWar_jr, and @Tellerian Hawke through FB. @Neurotic has already noted on Discord that he wants to claim the feybane sword, so that Akos can destroy it.
That certainly looks good!@JustinCase Tuck (ranged/melee, skirmish): cca 27 500gp
- Tabard of resistance +2 4 000
- Cure medium potion 300 gp
- Gloves of arrow snaring 4 000gp
- RoP +1 2 000gp
- +3 glamoured mithral chain shirt 8 576
- barkskin +3 600
- bag of holding 2 500
- universal solvent 50
- money 6 035
Do you mean the Lucky Boots? And which vest? I'm happy either way.I could take tabard if Tuck takes boots and my vest.
Fine by me!Ok, so Tim gets ring, cloak, and belt? And Tuck gets boots? @Knightfall Can I add those to my sheet?
Ooh, I like that! I'll study the IC thread later to see if that check worked.Rolling a Search check for Tuck...
Tuck - Search check: 1D20+17 = [19]+17 = 36
Tuck doesn't find any obvious traps or secret compartments in the front room of the candle shop. He goes through everything while Akos distracts the halfling shopkeeper (1.6 minutes of searching). While searching behind the counter, he does find something quite interesting. There is spyhole in the floor in between the chair and the counter, and he can see someone looking up at him!
A Bluff check is required to keep the spying person from noticing that he's been noticed through the spyhole. This is an untrained Bluff check for Tuck.
Tuck - Bluff check (untrained): 1D20+1 = [12]+1 = 13
If there is something nonmagical that upgrades Custodio at all, then I'll allocate it to his character sheet. He would be able to use the quiver with 15 bolts and the 5 MW bolts from the unique bolt case. The bolt case itself is an art object worth 130 gp, which I'm assuming the group will want to sell.First, all non-magical equipment should go to the guards YES/NO?
Bluffside is in a temperate climate, although it often sees storms that blow in from the sea. It sits in a sheltered valley that opens up over a cliff. The weather today has been mild but it is getting a bit warmer as day progresses. But it is still comfortable. A nice sunny day with a cooling breeze.Okay I have a dumbass question, likely one you’ve answered already @Knightfall.
What is the climate in Bluffside? If changing, what is the current weather like, and what’s the expectation of future weather?
Do you mean since the PCs came back from Aceron Manor? That happened the previous day. You stayed there overnight and came back to the city the next morning. At this point, I'd say its early afternoon. Most citizens have likely had a short lunch and are returning to work. Of course, this is Old City, so there are a lot of idle rich.Aust Thale said:And how much time has elapsed since Oakfirst Manor? Overnight?
+3 luck bonus to savesEdit: I thought the Lucky Boots were pretty straightforward, but now I can't find them. What properties do they have?
I agree with the proposal by Neurotic, and will take the aforementioned treasure for Tuck (the vest and boots replacing the tabard) if nobody objects.
Adding those to the RG now.
It can go to Sergeant Herleva Astagnory, if you want. She and her team were the guards who fought alongside the PCs against the Rising Swords when the mercs ambushed the Exemplars to try to take Mani. (She only has a normal chain shirt.)JustinCase said:This means I have a +1 mithral shirt to be taken by somebody else. Perhaps one of the halfling Elites?
It's a custom item created by me using PCGen. They don't exist in any book. But, the boots are just a straight +3 luck bonus to saves.JustinCase said:Edit: I thought the Lucky Boots were pretty straightforward, but now I can't find them. What properties do they have?
