Landscape Format PDFs

What he said. Landscape is great for screen but I rarely will read a whole PDF book on the screen and don't have a laptop for during the game. I printed out 3 Arrows, but with the binding at the top of the page double sided is just terrible to read.

Dual format would be great but I understand that can be a lot more work than it appears.

The only reason to have a border is if you wish to have an art page border or for neatness sake. In Construct Mechanus there is a border, no art border, and I found that this was easy on the eyes. I am not sure what it would be like if the text went all the way to the edge of the page, except decrease the number of pages.

Remember I'm not talking about printed pages, I'm talking about on screen. If you maximize Acrobat Reader, why shouldn't the text go to the edge of the screen? Borders are only there so the text doesn't get cutoff by the page. Art in the border is there so you don't look at the empty border as wasted whitespace.

And I wouldn't abandon portrait mode for a printable copy of the book. I need to print off a copy of my own book, too.

Possessors is actually the only D20 PDF I now have available that does not include landscape and portrait formats. Excluding the free PDFs.

You know, I have that, and had it printed out, and never really thought about it being landscape. I think, with your layout on that one, it works better for landscape. The only other book that I have, that is printed Landscape is 3 arrows, and I am not big on that... It may be something in the layout. But, I will go on record again, and say I prefer portrait for print...as a general rule.
