Latest purchases

I used to be good for 2-4 books a month, but so far this year I don't think I have picked up more the 4-5 books total.

Just not that much good.

@Merric: Do you know Shogun (or Wallenstein) from Queen-Games? That board game has some brilliant game design. :)

Yeah, it's sitting on my shelf. I really, really want to play it, but we're working through a bunch of new games at present so sometime in the next couple of months I hope!

Cheers!

PDF...
True20 Companion
Survivor's Guide to the Age of Blood (RealityDeviant's Blood Throne setting for True20)
Swords of Pride - Armies of the South (army list for Dream Pod 9's Heavy Gear Blitz!)

Books...
Life on Caprice
Caprice Corporate Sourcebook
Liberati Sourcebook (Dream Pod 9's Heavy Gear RPG)
Testament D20 (Green Ronin's Mythic Vistas)

I was going to pick up the new Demonweb Pits or Darwin's World True20, but Dream Pod 9 is clearing out their older edition books at the moment.

I just wanted to round out my Heavy Gear collection, and the Colonies (aside from Terra Nova, that is) are not covered in the 3e books... I had to get the Caprice books while they're available.

upcoming purchases -
any new Star Wars books
Unfortunately you're going to be waiting a while... the first Saga edition releases are Galaxy Tiles (think dungeon tiles... in spaaaaace!) and the Force Unleashed Campaign Guide - both in November!

Gotta say, it's one of the most poorly supported major game releases in recent memory (at least in terms of products - the developers are doing an admirable job supporting on the website/forums). Not even a gamemaster screen, and I thought they were mandatory...

LOL, I think you have too many games. :D

I finally (re) purchased Expanded Psionics Handbook as part of my re-acquiring my collection after selling most of it to pay rent. At the moment, my RPG budget is about one book every two months. Next up: Spell Compedium. D&D is certainly not a hobby for the poor, at least not if one likes to keep up with new releases...which I would, if I could afford to.

I picked up LotR CODA version the other day. I think it's OOP now, but I got the core book and the Fellowship of the Ring source book for ~30 in the bargin bin. It's a surprisingly good game.
