Looking for a New Job

Hello all. I am going to be leaving the United States Air Force this fall and am currently on the lookout for something new to pay the bills. Does anyone know of any company looking to possibly hire a Captain in the Communications career field with a Top Secret (SCI) clearance? Ideally I'd like to stay in the Central Time Zone, but am not averse to moving (just not every 2-3 years anymore). I've got my resume posted on Monster and have a couple of headhunter agencies helping me, but I figured that with as diverse a group as can be found here, someone may have knowledge of a cool job opening. Thanks in advance for any leads.

Heard on the radio today they the FAA is looking to hire 12,500 more air traffic controllers over the next ten years, and the pay starts around 100k. You might check into that.

Um... that's why they train you. I mean, people don't graduate high school knowing how to be an air traffic controller! They teach you what you need to know!

Well, surely you've gotta have some relevent experience for them to consider hiring you, though. Even if you've never been an air traffic controller per se, that doesn't mean anyone who's flipped a burger at Mickey D's needs apply.

Could you be more specific about the kind of job you're looking for? Communications Field is pretty broad.

Boeing is headquartered out of Chicago these days, and military/air force background could probably be a good thing with all their military contracts. Is Lockheed still in St. Louis? That might be an option too.
