Looking For A Solo Eberron Game

Sorry I haven't updated the game. I misplaced my "shadows..." during the move. I'll try to find it tomorrow when I can seriously start unpacking.

BTW. Could you post your character to the notebook-thread also?

Just to let you know. I'm around. I have a hell of week at work and so when I get home I'm damn tired. Don't know when I'll get to posting an update as it would require opening the book again, and I just can't find the strenght to read. The sea voyage was all my own but the next post would be an encounter from the adventure. I'll try to do it tomorrow at this time but no promises.

Would you be interested in another solo K? I would like to try out my homebrew setting with 4e but I don't seem to have enough time to consentrate on full-party game.

Yeah, I was hoping to get a chance to play in a solo game for 4e. I actually have started running one in which the DM from the 4e group game that I am in is the player, though he has yet to post his first reply. What sort of setting is it that you have devised? Something along the lines of the PoL idea?

Well the first link in my sig directs to my homebrew blog, which is still at the beginning but at least take a look at the overview post ;). It should give some idea.

I am thinking maybe a dwarf. They would probably be a good solo race, as they get second wind as a minor action and are harder to push around. In terms of the setting, I guess they would be a dedicated foe of the spider elves, though perhaps they are adventuring above ground in search of something. Either power, glory or aid for their cause.

What level were you thinking of starting at? 1?

Hmmm... Dwarf Ranger 1
Str 16 Dex 16 Con 14 Int 10 Wis 14 Cha 10
HP: 26 HS: 8 (6 HP) AC: 16 Fort: 14 Ref: 14 Will: 12
Two-Blade Ranger, Other Ranger and Dwarf Stuff
Skills: Dungeoneering, Athletics, Endurance, Perception, Stealth
Feats: Dwarven Weapon Training
At-Will: Hit and Run, Twin Strike
Encounter: Dire Wolverine Strike
Daily: Hunter's Bear Trap
Equipment: Hide Armour, Battleaxe, Warhammer, Hand Axe, Throwing Hammer, Adventurers Kit, 15 gp

Or something like that...

Yeah, I was thinking 1st level start. Dwarf would be good, though they are rare above-ground they are not unheard of. And the world is filled with ancient ruins where treasures of untold grandeur await.

At this point they are doing worse than ever. Orcs have kept invading one stronghold after another from the north and dark elves from the south. So maybe searching an artefact that was lost ages ago and is prophesied to bring prosperity to all dwarves?

Like the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords? hehehe...

I would be good to start whenever you are.

Kildrak the dwarven ranger has left his beleaguered homeland in order to search for the legendary Axe of the Dwarvish Lords, which many say is the one thing that could be the salvation of the dwarven kindgom. Kildrak, being a somewhat practical fellow, is not sure how one blade, no matter how sharp or deadly, is supposed to do that all by itself. But, something must be done. His younger siblings implored him to go on a search for it, and despite the fact that it seemed ludicrous that he, a common man, might find it, he could not refuse them. At least it might give him a chance to give some grief to their enemies on their own territory, where it hurts.
