Low level Crusader Feat selection

Hmm.... you make a good point, Blarg. I haven't actually played a crusader yet, so I am in the "must make full attack" mindset... nevermind that we're starting at 1st level and I won't get a second attack for 5 more levels anyway.

Also, my DM suggested improving dodge to +2 AC vs. one target, which makes it much more palatable.

Hmm.... Maybe Dodge instead of shield spec, mobility at 3rd, elusive target at 6th.... I wonder if it's worth it to take a couple levels of fighter to get a couple feats so I can get shield spec & ward and still have a feat available at 9th..... nice thing about that is it only drops my initiator level by 1....

That'd be a very strong combo. When multiclassing martial adepts, be aware of access to maneuvers and stances. Two levels of fighter does good things for crusaders on that score. :)

Yeah, I remember thinking that when I was delving into maneuver and stance choices and noticing that they don't really line up very well, but that taking levels of other classes can actually make your choices *better*.
