Thanks. For a long time I seemed to be the only one using my old avatar, but lately it has been showing up more and more, and now that Astros is using it with his new Improved Initiative column, I thought I should get something different. I love Order of the Stick and Durkon is a Dwarven cleric, just like Thornir, so it seemed a natural fit.

Well, I just finished ordering the last of the mini's I need for my module, and got some great player feedback last night with a solid playtest of my module. We're going to test it one more time Saturday at our in-house rpg group, so I am ready to rock for Sunday. I got some great feedback from one of my players that is a regular GM of CoC modules at GenCon, etc.

I have a question, though... Can someone that is not an ENWorld member attend? I have a new member to my regular group that is moderately interested in checking it out.

Yes, but please remember you are bringing people along not just to a gameday but as guests to my home. I expect folksto exercise good judgement in extending such an invitation, just as if I was hosting a party. (and make the pug/kitty/nonsmoking parts clear).

no, no, those are fine.... It's more an issue of showing general respect for the house rules, dealing with it graciously if something comes up that I hadn't felt neccassary to spell out (actually, 'no smoking' does include that smoked substance and no, my pug doesn't want any... ) and overall making sure your enjoyment does not limit the enjoyment of others. I have no serious worries in that regard, but I'm just reminding anyone bringing extras to consider social as well as gaming impact.

Well, the weather is looking a wee bit uncooperative, but the Hubby is willing to just move the grill to the front porch. Unless we have a LOT of pickup games, I don't anticipate a space problem. So all is going well. Is anyone showing up before noon on saterday, btw?
