Massachusetts game day July... And a Good Time Was Had by All

Guedo, please sign me up for your Ravenloft game.

KB, I'm not familiar w/ the HERO system, but I love the sound of the Bug Hunt! Would the rules be a big barrier to joining in that game? If it's okay, please sign me up.

Thanks.

I'll be handling all the heavy lifting with character creation (generally considered the intensive part of the system) so it shouldn't be too bad. I'll put you down.

I'd love to come, and it looks like there's still space! :D I work Saterday mornings, but i could possibly make it down for the afternoon. Sunday's are wide open.

Darksun anyone?

Hecks yeah! If everything works out of course.

Can't do it. I will unfortunately be acting as if I am having fun at the Cape (when I could be gaming).

I feal your pain, i have to spend way too much time driving around the cape, and with all the tourists ( :p :D ;) ) it can be down right painful.

It is painful, Cape roads were not designed for the ammount of traffic we get in summer. I live on Cape Cod, we have a saying: If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them? ;) Unfortantly I can't make it that weekend.

Okay, I'd like to run Mutants and Mastermind (the Boston Beacons!) in slot 4 (now 5 -- see below) (up to 7 players) and Spaceship Zero in slot 5 (now 4 -- see below) (up to six players.) All rules will be taught, no experience needed, and characters will be provided; just show up with dice. And pants. Definitely with pants. KB, will you please select a gaming space for me that's big enough? I won't need a battlemap, but don't want to be somewhere with xbox/TV distactions, if that's okay.

I'd VERY much like to play in the DiscWorld game in slot 7. I've actually never played GURPs before, and I'd love to learn.

Thanks!

MnM blurb: Ever since that unfortunate incident at the Franklin Park Zoo, suburban Boston's most famous superhero team The Boston Beacons has been plagued by the depredations of the evil Dr. Simian. What terrrible plot can he be up to NOW? Come find out in this Green Ronin/d20 superhero game.

Spaceship Zero blurb: The crew of the SC Quicksilver is blasting off on a simple test mission. . . but adventure, and the Hydronaut threat, await! A 1950's-style radio drama in RPG form, Green Ronin's Spaceship Zero is my favorite new game. Come find out why.

Egad! I'm horribly conflicted. I'm looking forward to Ravenloft, but I'm a HUGE fan of old movie and radio serials, and I was enthralled by the idea of Spaceship Zero when I first heard about it.

Piratecat, would you be opposed to reversing your sessions? Barring that, I may have to switch from Ravenloft to Spaceship Zero.

I apologize if either of these requests constitutes an awful breach of gameday etiquette. I certainly don't mean to inconvenience or insult anybody.

Not a Problem, CarlZog. IMO, No one should have to compete with the legendary Piratecat. He should players sign wavers so he won't be held accountable for ruining other DMs by comparison. hmmmm, maybe all the DMs could put together some funds to buy Pkitty for a year. So we won't have to compete. Then we could have him run a game for us in some abandoned warehouse.

I'm very tempted by M&M myself but I'm going to hold off till more games come up and plans with others solidify.

Guedo, thank you very much. I've never met or played with Piratecat before. But I LOVE the old serials, and I've been dying to check out Spaceship Zero!

Piratecat, please count me on board the SC Quicksilver!

I'm happy to switch sessions if it makes peoples' lives earlier. No problem. KB, that okay with you? I've changed the post above to reflect this.

We played Spaceship Zero this last weekend, and we hurt ourselves from laughing so hard. It's a great game.
