I thought that was the male version. The, uh, lumps on the chest look lke part of the armor.
I'm trying not to look at that armor. It is more ridiculous than a chainmail bikini. We've gotten some real stinkers for 5E art. At least it can see over it's completely useless shoulder plates, unlike some poor suckers we've seen.

Ridiculous shoulder plates (aka spaulders or pouldrons)? Look no further than Warhammer. There are any number of things in Warhammer and warhammer 40k that would never see you coming if you just walked up beside/behind them. I guess what I'm saying is that the form-over-function look is definitely not unique to D&D; almost every fantasy game has it to a certain degree.
