[MM2e] Salton City Needs Heroes! Episode 1: Premiere

"So as I was saying..isn't it breezy in here, huh?" Terrence looks out of the Van at the Norweigan Giant, and clad in jeans and T shirt makes his way after him "Hey big guy we were planning, and I'm pretty sure suprise and subtlety were mentioned" When Terrence catches up he trys to grab Sven's arm and guide him back to the van

The Ten-Foot Pole cranes his neck to try and peer out the door of the van while remaining seating in the back, contorting his body in ways that look painful, and impossible.

"What's he doing out there?"

"Getting a snack," Keiko replies as she peers out the window. "You see, this was why I wanted to hide in plain sight. I knew staying in a van out of sight would be too complicated to work."

She unbuckles her seat belt. "Do we have headsets?" She taps her ear as she goes over behind Terrance. "Radios so we can talk."

Iscrem. Ieg bak søøn. Sven says to Terrence when he gets to him. It is apparent that stopping a train would be easier than holding Sven down.

He goes on to buy a basketfull of different flavored icecreams and returns to the van, handing everyone something. Iscrem. Nøw ys gøød. After that he settles down to enjoy a popcicle and letting the others to continue their plotting.

Keiko nods, then slips out of the van...deftly avoiding the popsicle Sven proffers. She trots over to Emily's vehicle and without so much as a by-your-leave opens up the sliding panel door in the side.

"Need a headset," she reports, reaching out to dig through gear. "You should have one too. Not much good for me to have one if no one's listening."

Emily paused when Keiko entered the van. "The head sets are in that gray case, so be sure to take the case with you. Do not be surprised if I am unavailable during the next half hour since I have to check in with Richard Diceman."

The Ten-Foot Pole holds his icecream and considers it thoughtfully. He looks out of the van and considers the buildings for a moment.

"I could do my looking around from up there. Have we given up on the subtle approach? Or shall we find somewhere more out of the way to unload everyone?"

As he finishes his question, the Pole finds a grey plastic case thrust into his hands. Keiko looks up at him and finishes adjusting her headset.

"Everyone should wear one of these," she instructs him. "If Captain Superior shows up, do not tell him I'm here."

With a nod, Keiko then ducks into the van. Her image blurs and fades until it's gone. Then she gets back out of the van and heads out towards the area the big event will take place in to get a feel for the lay of the land, and check to see if anyone else is casing the spot.

Sven thinks hard for a moment looking puzzled about his popcicle, and then just crams it whole into his mouth. With his hands finally free he casually takes one of the headsets and adjusts it to his head. The looks of a viking with modern headset is funny at the least, not to mention surpricing to realise that he actually knew what it was and how to use it.
