Mr Tv goes for a clotheline!

Which hit's the cowardly gangster square on his neck (being that he's not a trained wrestler) which snapps his head back then causes his head to slamb hard into the glass of the el camino's now busted windshield.
Toughness: 9 vs 14 -> Fail !

Mr. TV then began to holler: "USA.. USA..USA HOOOOOOOEEEE!!!!!"

The nondescript gang banger glanced over and cursed as the van's engine started. In a panic he placed his foot on the gas pedal as he threw the car into reverse. The van then flews backwards out of control before plowing into the Benny's sign.

The van's horn sounds continuously.


OOC: The mooks are now officially all ko'ed.

Sven scans the room for another opponent but realises there is none. He finally spots the one stealing a van through the window and runs outside just in time to see him back to the sign. His rage still running wild, Sven runs after the van, picks it up and throws it towards the desert as far as he can.

Finally settling down his anger Sven looks around the destruction he has caused and gets a puppy-dog looks on his face. He walks inside, head down, and goes to the counter.

"Ieg ys sørri. Ieg get mad at them. Thei threat gyrls." He mumbles at Benny and his wife.

[sblock=OOC]Wow, I'm pretty amazed about the throwing rules. Being as tired as I am at the moment, I can't even figure out what that was supposed to mean. But I imagine, having a strenght with which he can pretty comfortably carry a cargo-jet, Sven can throw a mere van quite a distance?[/sblock]

Benny's, Interior.
"Ieg ys sørri. Ieg get mad at them. Thei threat gyrls." He mumbles at Benny and his wife.

"Don't you worry about it hun, those bang members are pests and I know that Benny will be happy if they never show up again."

"Fortunately, that last one attempted to steal our truck. So technically, those unlucky bastards are liable for the damages done to this establishment." Emily glanced towards Benny. "Do not worry, My Tea Productions will help with the repair costs. I am hoping that not too much of equipment isn't damaged."

Glancing back to the group. "We are currently waiting for one more individual to arrive. If she doesn't so up soon, I"ll assume she decided to opt out of this meeting."


Five hundred feet west from Benny's in the desert..
A lonely member of the Torres-Martinez tribe walks alone between two sand dunes. He day-dreams about his ancestors and their flooded land beneath the Salton Sea's waves. He pauses at the sound of a car's horn that seems to get louder, and glances around. Then, a few feet away from him a dented up truck slams into a desert dune, demonishing it before it tumbles to a rest a few hundred feet away.

A single tear then rolls down his cheek.

Michael turns away from the decimation that is the bar and looks at the people who have arrived from the back room.

"So. . . you're Emily?"

She extended her hand. "Yes, I am Emily Holland, the associate and consulting producer for Salton City Needs Heroes! It is my job to try to provide whatever you may need, so long as the request is reasonable. I hope your journey to Salton City was pleasant and that the interns did not take too much liberty in which flights they scheduled."

Michael shakes Emily's hand but gives her a dubious look.

"Mikel Styrzkwalski, er. . . the Ten-Foot Pole. Just call me 'Michael'. My flight was. . . um. . . and then the taxi. . . he . . . ugh. Never mind. I arrived. Who are we still waiting for?"

"A woman named Michelle Fox, an actress..."

Keiko stepped into her own image, then let it dissolve into a haze of free photons and vanish. The effect was that of the 'costume' vanishing, revelaing Keiko underneath as if she'd been there all the time.

"Ishimura Keiko," she said with a polite bow. "Was this part of the show?"

She looks around for a camera.

"Keiko, as much as I wish that was planned, it was not.. " Benny interrupted.

"'Them no good hoodlums been scare'n away our customers fer weeks. I tell ya it'sa good thing someone finally put 'em in their place." Benny began to pour drinks for everyone. "Things gonna change, I tell ya. Just ya watch..."

"Hopefully it will be change for the good." Emily sat down. "I do not plan on using the Shawn's footage for the show."

Terrence enters the bar at a quick jog, slightly out of breath "So how was my first scene? ya know maybe we should do it again when I have a costume on underneath or is this like the bit where we discover our powers or?...who's Shawn?"
