OK first they get a Dodge check to avoid part of the Area Affect and then a Fortitude check vs. the Dazzle effect...

Death Magnet [roll0] vs. DC 18
Feral [roll1]* vs. DC 18

Death Magnet [roll2] vs. DC 18 (14 if she made her Dodge save)
Feral [roll3] vs. DC 18 (14 if she made her Dodge save)

*Feral has Evasion which grants her a +2 bonus vs. Area affects on her Dodge.
 

Death Magnet is going to use Extra Effort to give her attack Area Affect. As I don't want her to have a level of Fatigue, Kitsune gains +1 Hero Point (basically when the Bad Guys use "Villain Points" the hero who they are spending the point again gain a Hero Point instead). Of course its against a illusion but she does not know it yet... maybe...

Feral [roll0] vs. DC 14 (Feral is Power Attacking for -5 to hit for +5 to her effective Damage. Also, Paladin is 'vulnerable' this round, which halves his Dodge and/or Parry vs. her attacks).

If she hits Paladin needs to make a Toughness save vs. DC 29!!! Yikes
 



Octoman [roll0] vs. Parry DC 17. If he hits, the Shadow needs to make a Toughness save vs. DC 23* and needs to make a Dodge save or Strength check vs. DC 18 to avoid being Grabbed.

*EDIT: Sorry, Toughness is 15 + Power Rank and all other saves are 10 + Power Rank. Just had a brain freeze I think

Egad...I forgot that area effects worked like that! Gah, they're almost worthless!
