why no Gnome.. Well.. I can't think of a style that suits. I like the idea of the peasant garb with the straw hat. Maybe he should have a staff (one of those staffs with the metal rings in it)

as to a weapons blister.. dunno maybe. I want to concentrate on getting the minatures correct first.

and yes.. I am after dynamic poses. most of the current MA minatures that I have seen out there are just in a "At ready" pose with there fists in a standard boxing setup.

today I get to walk down to the hardware store to get some wire. I am going to have to make my own armatures for the dwares/gnomes/halflings.. where as I am just waiting for the armatures for the humans/half-orcs/elves etc to turn up from Reaper.

and the other factor in why I will probably not do weapons blisters. Most kung fu poses that are unarmed, are different in the stance to ones that are armed. Some them might be able to be modified.

For some reason, I could totally see a female gnome in a tai chi "single whip" pose.

We seem to be on the same wavelength... when I thought "gnome monk", a picture of the old man from Ninja scroll was the first thing that came to mind. Maybe just have him in a back stance with staff?
