How come there's an Alu-Demon?

That's what happens when someone gets jiggy with a succubi, but doesn't that generally just create a Half-Fiend?

It's a specific type of half-fiend, just like the draegloth in Monsters of Faerun.

Add to that the fact that, IIRC, it said somewhere alu-fiends are birthed of the 'bad' parts of a persons soul that a succubus has devoured, rather than conventional methods of fertilisation so they're not really half-fiends in the same sense.

The ToH does NOT ignore psionics. We even have some "psionic only" monsters. Note the Psionic Elementals listed in the Table of Contents.

Also several others are contained therein as well. We didn't forget about the psionic people!

What is the "ToH"? I'm afraid that I am not familiar with this book, or whatever it is.

ToH is Tome of Horrors, which is the new title for what was once going to be called the Creature Catalog.

Well while the Coln, has it right to a degree, there will also be NEW monsters, some from Necromancer games stuff, as well as just a few things I'm pretty sure Scott put together. For example, Demonic Knight, is a new type of Death Knightesque creature that I'm sure is a creation of Orcus in respone to Death Knights. Also there will be the usual conversion of old favorites BUT there will be a few new ones too. I don't know which ones, but I imagine we'll have fun figuring out which ones, right Scott?

Btw, my speculation still stands, a bunch of d20 monsters will be in there. (These will probably be from some of the more well established publishers like S&SS and their groups, GR and possible Atlas are involved. But that's not 100% certain.)

You are referring to MM2 of course? No GR, S&S, or Atlas in the ToH.
