Monsters and readied actions, please help save my sanity

Yeah, barring readied actions, the defender gets one attack per monster's turn. But there is nothing wrong with monsters readying actions, mine often do, for flanking and the like, in which case they are attacking on the same turn, and the defenders aura might be triggered only once. Readying actions just to make sure defender's aura activates only once seems a little spiteful, though highly tactical creatures might do it.
I dunno... Once you go down the road of delay/ready tricks ... that way lies madness. I would not go there. :)

I agree with @Obyrn, there are lefty of ticks one -could- pull using readied actions, but I for one am always glad when my PC's don't use them. So as a DM I try to discourage that by not using them myself. If your table is filled with more minmaxers than mine, I can see readied actions to avoid OA's being more desirable. However, when every other player and monster start doing it, I see it getting very grindy, very complicated and not very fun. Very fast.
