[Mordheimel] The Nekromancer

Argent Silvermage

First Post
Bad Dog. Die. Autumn says and casts entangle in the area. (She knows this will catch her as well, but it is perfect for the others to attack from range and kill these creeps dead.)

T'Kran snarls as he takes aim towards the Nekromancer with his crossbow, and then pulls the trigger, sending a bolt launching towards him.

Autumn starts to cast the spell which incurs an attack from the dog. Once again the druid dodges the creature's salivating jaws. Suddenly a tangle of black, grimy vines erupt from the drains, dirty with sewage. They catch Autumn as she finishes the spell, but the dog dodges and manages to escape. It tries biting at Autumn again, and its strong jaws bite down on the druid's flesh. (6 points damage)

The vines entangle the zombie guards and the Nekromancer as well. The mage shouts in surprise and dismay. Fid's arrow gets caught amongst the vines, but T'krans bolt strikes the Nekromancer (8 points damage) in the chest but not dead yet. He is shocked. He smashes something against his side and you see a shadowy form billowing out. That shadowy form is climbing the wall quickly.

Sintius, with his mace draw, stands at one end of the alley. Seeing Autumn injured he starts to go through the vines, but gets entangled as well. "GAAAAH!"

Initiavite: Autumn, Shadow, Dog, Nekromancer, T'kran, Fid, Sintius, Verazzio

Verrazzio gets into the fight

"Women."
The muttered word is almost a curse as Verrazzio's right hand whips across his body to pluck a dart from the quiver under his left armpit.
"Always women."
The dart flies deliberately high over the dog's head: Verrazzio can do much, but hitting a specific target in that swirling melee is beyond him. Better to distract the hound and Vangal.
One foot flickers out to catch a leg of the whore's chair and pull, tumbling her to the ground and under cover.
"Stay there, signora."
The plaza is crowded with people rapidly moving away from the fight, but there is a fountain, perhaps, the retaining wall of which Verrazzio could balance on while he runs as close to Vangal as he can without entering the entangle area.

(Apologies for this freeform mode and delay: I've been out of town since Thursday and do not now have my character sheet.)

Dart throw is assist another, granting Autumn a +2 to her Armor class
Running towards the combat.)

Edit: Adding Stats:
Dart throw is +5, or +7 if a flanking bonus is granted.
Should any jump checks need to be made for hopping onto anything that needs to be jumped on, Verrazzio's Jump is +2.
Figure he left his pack at the table, giving him a light load and his normal 30' move.

T'Kran, wasting no time for venomous thoughts directed towards his bumbling comrades, retrieves a flask of the sticky black liquid, that upon contact with air, ignites into unquenchable flame. Chuckling grimly, imagining the Nekromancer screaming around in flames, T'Kran skillfully tosses the bottle towards the Nekromancer.

OOC: Missile Touch Attack +4, Grenadelike Weapon, 1d6 damage on direct hit plus on fire, 1 point of splash damage.

Autumn's spell creates a burst of fire in front of the dog, which appears dazed.

The Shadow clambers to the rooftop and strikes at T'kran but the Skaven avoids the blow.

The dazed dog bites at Autumn but she just manages to avoid its malicious jaws. The Nekromancer casts a spell but the vines entangle his hands. He shouts "Marakin, Qweimos, help me! HELP ME!"

T'kran drops the flask onto the Nekromancer and it spills onto him. He gives a shriek. He is in flames. The vines don't catch fire as they are still wet from emerging from the sewage.

Fid's arrow gets entangled in the vines and fails to strike the Nekromancer. Sintius manages to break free of the vines and continues towards Autumn. "I'll save you lassy!"

Verazzio's dart fails to strike the dog.

The two zombie guards continue to struggle against the vines but fail to make much progress.

You hear people around you rushing to the scene.
