I have to admit, I have done the opposite, as a consumer I have sked questions of the sales staff that should have had me committed?
"Excuse me, do you sell the Heward's Handy Haversack?" "I'm looking for a Sphere of Invulnerability for my phone." "So you say I'll feel better if I take these vitamins, but what are the tangible modifiers involved?"
The first one actually looked in the inventory (I felt sorry for her), the second looked at me like I had grown a second head and said, "we don't carry those", and the third was completely clueless and kept talking about the natural ingredients and they way it would affect my bodies metabolism, energy, etc. My wife just shook her head, I'm surprised she still wants to be seen in public with me, but she laughs heartily after we leave.
