Yep. I'm no longer a teenager, but that picture is actually sort of.... loathsome, in a behind the counter, lower rack, hidden behind a piece of carboard, amateur porn sort of way.

Yuck.

;-)

I think that the original picture had no clothes at all, but the distributor must have intervened, they could see all the gamers complaining why an obviuous fighter wasn't wearing any armor. She couldn't survive with such a low AC ;-)

That stance without clothes...
That would be porn even here in Europe, wouldn't it?

Um...Avalanche, please. Not Atlas. I've never seen a woman like that on one of Atlas' covers.

I'm pretty sure John would be sleeping over here at the FFG offices for a few nights if he sent something like this to Michelle for edits. :)

I think you guys are missing the obvious questions here -

A) What does she have to do with Dwarves, fire giants, and Norse gods?

and more importantly:
B) What kind of name is Bjorg for a giant?!?

A) The dwarf is there, but invisible...

B) ROFLMAO!

A lot of these artists, rather than drawing on their own, or using a model of their own, base their drawings on pictures from Playboy. (Which explains the somewhat silly poses)

My guess is, in the original picture, the model was originally up against a wall, or sitting on something.

Anyway, my trouble with AP's covers, now that I have a few of their products, is the women on them are a bit on the skanky side. The only one I find attractive is the one on Jade & Steel.

Still, I wish they'd lose the covers and bump up the length of the products. Most of their stuff isn't that bad, but too short.

I could care less about the covers. I've yet to ever buy a book or magazine by the cover. I've also yet to refuse to buy a book or magazine because of the cover. THe content is pretty good. THe rules are not too bad. Manty of the things are weaker then they should be combared to other products. So, at least there isn't that power increase that is always happening in the RPG market. THey seem to do reasearch, and I've yet to see any glaring errors.
