@Ohillion: This is the result from the same bug as what you mentioned earlier... The v6.5/v6.6 sheets only ever detected the non-variant human. It has been fixed in v6.7
@Liquidjim: Thank you for your kind words! What you are asking for, concerning automatically adding weapons and armor/shield, is something that would result in a very unpractical sheet imho. The solution I have in place now is that you can add all the weapons or armor/shield with 1 click.
If I would automatically have anything you put in the first page be added to equipment you'll get things like this:
- You add a battleaxe and you add the battleaxe a second time, but this time with your rage damage >> now you have 2 battleaxes in your inventory
- You change the longsword to longsword +1 >> now you have 2 longswords
It might be workable if I add another feature to the menu to "add new weapons" and "add new armor/shield". This would than only add the weapons (or armor/shield) that aren't yet present in the equipment section.
@timmy2383: Great to hear you like it! Until the new Beta versions, no class abilities were part of the sheet. Only since v6.5 have class features been added and until now only for the Barbarian. Transcribing everything in the PHB takes a lot of time. I have added the Monk weapon features in the new version, v6.7 (as well as the Fighting Styles for the other classes).
I just updated the downloads section to
Character Sheet v6.7 (11-7-2015), with the following changelog:
- Fixed bug with reset not resetting the Notes/Rules on page 3
- Added the Fighter class features and Fighter subclasses except Eldritch Knight (with thanks to fitsou)
- Weapon proficiencies for already selected weapons now update when adding a class that has proficiencies in that type of weapon, or when clicking the appropriate checkbox
- Monk damage now automatically updates for the weapons (only works if your class is monk, obviously)
- Added a pop-up to notify about missing subclasses that also lists all excepted subclass names
- Improved the code for adding the class features (now fully functional with multiclassing)
- Added code for class features that offer choices that stack (like the Fighting Styles, Battle Master’s Maneuvers, and the Warlock’s Invocations) These things will be added to the Notes section on the third page (as there is no room for them on the second page)
- Added the first couple of levels for the Monk and Paladin class
- Changed the way feats/class features add movement bonuses. These are now also remembered when adding/changing race
Maybe I should start calling this a Character Generator instead of just a Character Sheet
