What? Me Worry?
I'm sorry to hear this, Liquide. The loss of a pet can be devastating. My dog, whom I had from when I was age 5 until I was 21, has been gone for almost 15 years now (I'm 36), and I still haven't had the heart to get another one.

I've had my cat for 15 years now as well and I fear that it may come to this soon as well. Always hard to lose a pet you've loved for so long. Your on my mind, Liquide.

Sorry to hear about the cat.
If I wasn't away from home at the moment... I think one of mine would have been on the keyboard writing his condolences as well.... he's quite articulate... in fact he's one of my freelancers... I of course pay him in cat food.

At least he's not suffering. I know how little condolence that is, but it's all I've got to offer... and at least he had a good life.

I am sorry for your loss, Liquide.
You did the best thing for him you possibly could - he passed away getting comfort from you. (As my wife has said before, "still doesn't stop my OWN heart from getting ripped out, though!") She no longer goes to the vet if an animal needs to pass on.
My condolances, and my hopes that the rest of your Holiday season will be much happier than right now.
