I'm sorry to hear this, my condolences. I hate to imagine how you must feel right now. A couple of years ago when I was as sick as I've ever been (unable to stand, think straight, eat, or sleep for more than half an hour at a time), our cat abandoning his usual spots and staying by me was sometimes the only thing that kept me from screaming during the 20 hours a day I was otherwise alone.

Sorry to hear about this my friend. Our pets are certainly our friends too and parts of our family. If I lose one of them it is as painful as losing any family member.

Sorry to hear about Linus. Many folks don't understand, but our furry friends are like people to us, and it's hard to let them go. They see us through thick and thin. Sorry your story ended the way it did, but find some peace in knowing you had the strength to help your friend one last time.
