My good friend needs HELP in Phoenix, AZ!

First Post
So, a good friend of mine is getting out of the military and is probably moving down to Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding area. He's spent the past few years working computer tech support, and is looking to continue his career in that field in Phoenix. He's got a sweet clearance!

Any ideas?

The valley of the sun is a very big computer place. The third biggest in the US in fact. He should have no trouble getting a job here. :)

If he qualifies for it tell him to check the government job listings for Sierra Vista's Ft. Huachuca. Good pay, much smaller community, and generally 10 degress cooler than Phoenix.
I have been eyeing the job for flying the RC airplanes. You know, the really cool ones.

Tell him get a car and with air. Public tran is laughable and it can get 120-125 in summer. It will be 115 for weeks in summer. Then the rain comes. Hot and humid. :(

I always find it funny when people in Arizona complain about the humidity. They should try living in the south and southeast states where you have 105 to 110 temps with 100% humidity.

Your sweat becomes your own private salt bath.

At least your sweat evaporates around here.

I lived for a month,July,in the deep south,so I know about it,but. That was 20 years ago,I can not take any hot humidity now nor any heat or cold now.
