Hey all,

Here is a new feat that I have been toying around with, enjoy.

Forceful Trip [General]
Prerequisites: Base attack bonus +4, Improved Trip, Improved Unarmed Strike.
Benefit: By using the Improved Trip feat (PHB 83), you immediately get a melee attack against a successfully tripped opponent. Forceful Trip allow you to do extra damage while tripping them. With a successful tripping attack (PHB 139), you may deal 1d6 + Str modifier points of damage against an opponent, as you forcefully slam them to the ground.
Normal: Without this feat, you only trip an opponent, you do not deal damage.
Special: As with all tripping attacks, you may only trip an opponent who is one size category larger than you, the same size as you, or smaller than you.

How do you trip someone harder with out your hands? If unarmed this is possible but I cant see it with a staff or chain.

I think this is what Improved Trip is suposed to simulate thus the free attack to see if you did it with enough force.

Perhaps, but it just says for Improved Trip you get an extra attack. That attack does not have to be with the same weapon.

Then the feat leaves it open to what ever flavor text you care to insert.

Thrown to the floor with great force.

Tripped high into the air landing roughly.

Feet swept he was struck resoundingly on the backstroke.

And such, but this is just my interpretation.

Well, actually it also says "You are not only trained in tripping opponents, but in following through with an attack".

But that's only what the PHB says, you may choose to interpret it however you choose. :D
