I have played Ravenloft waaaaaaayyyyy back in 1984 where I learned to never again hit a flesh golum with lightning bolt. Yes, I am a first edition grognard! if this potential game were played 3.5 or Pathfinder I would be interested.

Just a quick note to say I'm recruiting players for a D&D 5e Princes of the Apocalypse play-by-forum, although it's over on rpggeek.com not ENWorld (just by dint of me being more active there). Hope it's OK to post that here - just delete this and chastise me, if not.

I've made a post there on the 'D&D 5th edition' product forum if anyone's interested - take a look if you're not already too aware of what Princes of the Apocalypse is all about...

I' ve never really been a fan of the whole "D&D Horror" thing, but I'm beginning to think that I should maybe give Strahd a chance.
