The lingering acid does another 3 damage.

Oromeax hits him hard again (Full Attack back up to PA+10). "You really should at least apologize when you let one of those loose."

Oromeax misses with his bite due to the fog, but misses more due to the extra power attack. He ends up connecting with a claw and a wing for 32+20, which is just enough to kill Snaky.

The stinking cloud dissappears (39 CL check). I believe the remants of the previous fog remain (23 CL check).

Next for NE in round 413 is a mature adult tarterian dragon. (Draconomicon)

Dragon stats:[sblock]29 ranks in Concentration, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge (arcana, geography, local, religion), Listen, Search, Sense Motive & Spot. Feats are Blind-Fight, Flyby Attack, Hover, Improved Initiative, Weapon Focus (claw & bite), Wingover, Large and In Charge & Maximize Breath. Ancient oceanus dragons breath lightning, are immune to electricity, are amphibious and water breathing, can smite evil and have DR/magic and evil.[/sblock]

Oromeax:[sblock]Tarterian dragons can breathe a line of force or a cone of will-sapping gas, have SR and frighful presence roughly equivalent to oceanus dragons, are resistant to force effects, charms, and compulsions, have freedom of movement and DR/magic, and have the spel-like ability Otiluke's Resilient Sphere.[/sblock]

Yes, the fog is still around.

A huge black dragon with tattered wings appears at 85N100E and breathes a line of force at Oromeax, which also hits the wall at 95N50E0Z.

Five foot step to 85n55e (I think he was off-center earlier due to banging his head on the wall) and reply with a full attack at PA+10.

Edit: Oh, and put a Smite Evil on the bite. I just realized Oromeax still hasn't used that.

OOC: Wouldn't Oromeax's gargantuan body block the line of force from hitting the back wall?

Oromeax dodges (35 Ref save) and takes 38. He has 221 hp.

Oromeax starts round 414.

OOC: Ah, I had drawn him in at 100n85e ... rather different. I wondered how he was doing on the water.

Make the five-foot step and hit Vader with lightning breath.

I do not think so. A creature does not give total cover to another creature behind it, so why would the line of force not hit the wall? Even though Oromeax is gargantuan, he does not fill his entire space like a gelatinous cube does.

If Vader can breathe force again, he does so, and steps to 85N105E. He will breathe at the same section of wall unless it has been destroyed; otherwise he will breathe at 95N50E5Z.

If he cannot breathe force this round, he will withdraw, to the east first, then fly to 35N60E30Z, westbound. He will also ask when he is allowed to use breath weapon again.

OOC: I agree with the line of reasoning so far, but I am still struggling with the wall-as-collateral-damage idea. Every previous force breath up to now did not register damage on any wall, why should this breath in particular do damage to a wall? Because the dragon selected a five-foot section of wall as a target? Why not a 10 foot section or a 15 foot section? Did the dragon aim the breath in such a way that only the 5 foot section was exposed?

Vader:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 415.[/sblock]
