Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

*Quozen fails to grapple the melded monster by a huge amount--it isn't even close. Meanwhile, Valan also similarly fails and Jace misses badly.*

(OOC: Hasin goes now, then the enemies, then Gloria, Dorrin, and everyone else at the top of next round)

*Hasin hurts the creature badly, but it latches on as he pulls back and manages to meld with the dwarf. Meanwhile, Valan's flesh and essence begin to flow into the creature.*

(OOC: Hasin takes 2 damage, Valan takes 2 temporary Charisma damage)

*Now Gloria doesn't have a good shot any more, so she thinks about what to do next.*

(OOC: Dorrin goes here, then all the other PCs, then the bad guys)

Is this about right?

(*) If Valan can pull free, Jace will try to turn the kite that held Valan, moving as appropriate to stay in range. maybe turn undead kite (1d20+1=16, 2d6+2=11) If I read the SRD right, that's 11HD turned of any undead with 3 or less HD within 60 ft.
(*) If Valan can't pull free, Jace will swing his morningstar at the most damaged undead, moving as appropriate maybe Swing at undead kite (1d20=4, 1d8=2)
I guess I'm not going to be much help.

*Dorrin heals Hasin and deals massive damage to the enemy. Only the foul necrotic energies that suffuse it and the vital force it is leeching from Hasin keep it from unraveling and being destroyed.*

(OOC: Hasin heals 2 HP and the undead takes 7 Damage, total Damage to it is 22)

*Valan fails to get the melded enemy into a grapple, which is unfortunate, since he would then need to effect a pin to rip it off. He also fails to draw his weapon.*

(OOC: Quozen goes, then Jace attacks and misses, then Hasin goes

@Jace--that init order is correct except Gloria is right after the enemies thanks to her delay)

The beast digs it's claws into hasin drawing blood and a howl from him. but the pain filled howl is coupled by a smile...Foolish...HA HA! you've fallen for the fouth classic blunder! NEVER grapple a guy in armor spikes!

8 damage from the armor spikes.
