Obscure cartoons you forgot you liked

Epic Commoner
Here is my list of obscure cartoons I thought were cool. They have nothing in common except for me thinking they rocked.

Bionic Six- I seriously loved this cartoon. I even stole a quote from it for my sig. It was my favorite cartoon when it was on.

The Real Ghostbuster- Not to be confused with the Ghost-busters who had that stupid Model T car with the ghost head on the front. This was based from the movies. I really liked this carton. Extrem Ghostbusters blew.

GI Joe- Well not obscure but I liked it. It seems to be on Cartoon network right now.

MASK- Mobile Armored Strike K(c)ommand. These are the guys that had the motorcycle turn into helicopters, the helecopter turn into a jet and the one guys side care which turned into a submarine.

Spiderman and his Amazing Friends- I saw this on one of the dozen family channels I get about 2 months ago. It was cheesey funny but had Iron Man in it for a show. I liked it. I used to be an hour long on Sat when I was kid. The first half was SPide, the second half was Hulk. Never missed it.

Mr T and something something- This was a guilty pleasure of mine when I was a kid. Mr T had his own cartoon. He ran around with a bunch of gymnasts and solving mysteries. I always liked those cartoons except the one that started it. I HATE SCOOBY DOO!!!

Clue Club- Any of you peeps remeber this cartoon.

Silverhawks- Never liked it but always watched it, go figure

Pole Position- The cars had those compuers they would put in the car. The cars tires would fold in and they would hover.

Thats all I can think of. Please feel free to add to the list.

Not a TV series, but an animated movie that messed with my young mind: The Mouse and His Child. The can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it of a dog holding a can with a picture on it....

Oh yeah, Bionic Six was the bomb at the time. I used to get up really early every Saturday to watch that, Photon (live-action) and Captain Planet. M.A.S.K. was a fav of mine as well. I still have a bunch of beat-up action figures and vehicles from that show. :D

Edit: This isn't really obscure but Voltron was on about the time time as well (the one with the lions, not the vehicles). I look back on the animation now and cringe. Still a good show...

When I was about 8 I was having thanksgiving dinner at my uncle's house. Afterward his disfunctional nephew (my third cousin) decided to put in Heavy Metal. I was scarred for life.
Again.

I'm currently watching Reign the Conqueror (interesting stuff), and of course it reminds me of Phantom 2040 (same character designs). I really liked that show, and it had an AMAZING theme song. (So does M.A.S.K., by the way.) And of course, being a fan of the Phantom, I was also into Defenders of the Earth (Flash Gordon, the Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, and Lothar). The old Filmation Flash Gordon series was also great.

It ticked me off that the network put Phantom 2040 so early in the morning. That also happened to Exo-Squad, which was another of my faves. That's the real test of a cartoon: are you willing to get up at 6 am on Saturday morning to watch it!
;) (Okay, I wasn't THAT dedicated. I just taped them. But I would have if I had to!)

But there just aren't any cartoons like the earliest ones you used to watch, and think were totally cool. A lot of those were the early anime shows, before anime became popular: Robotech, Voltron (the lion one), Battle of the Planets, and Force Five (Gai King, Grandizer, Danguard Ace, Spaceketeers, and Starvengers). I'm a total sucker for any remakes of those shows!

And I still think Bravestarr was pretty cool. Eyes of the Hawk! Strength of the Bear!

Exo-Squad! That series rocked! :D

Silverhawks of course. Thundercats. Punky Brewster. There was one about some little animal-people that wore clothes and lived in a caboose... I forget. Captain Planet.

And then, there was this one cartoon show... if anyone could help me identify it, I'd be greatful. The "theme song" if you will, showed several people, live action mind you, arriving at a friends house and messing around and stuff. Then they're sucked into this strange dimension, and they're all in cartoon mode. I think they're in some kind of dream dimension, because I remember the show was severely screwed up.

I think they traveled around (or had access to) an RV or something. I think there was one chick in some kind of 80's work-out getup (leotard, tights, headband, and leggings) and another nerdy guy with glasses and a bad Hawaiian shirt, maybe with a guitar? Am I ringing any bells for anyone at all?
