Obscure cartoons you forgot you liked

Galaxy Rangers was awesome!!!

I liked Centurions ("Power Extreme!"), too.

But all that pales before the juggernaut that were He-Man, Transformers, Thundercats and GI Joe...

Oh, and the DnD cartoon (here in Brazil it was titled "Cave of the Dragon"... Go figger...)

Kidd Video - eek!

I was watching a rerun of G-Force recently and realised just how god awful it really is! When I was a lad I use to rush to watch this thing - now I have no idea why!

Have you ever seen uncut japanese versions of those shows? Man, it was a bloodbath :) You might want to check out the Gatchaman stuff available now.

The lions. I never saw the car one. I actually collected all of the Voltron toys when I was a kid, and have all of the lions (they all fit together to form Voltron), and all the action figures somewhere in the closet. Have about a dozen large robotech figures too.
I saw the car-version once and immediately thought it was blasphamy. I developed an unnatural hatred for that version of Voltron at that point.

I'm surprised that I never got into Robotech considering that I recall it being shown at nearly the same time of day as Voltron...

Jem (and the Holograms). Beverly Hills Teens.

How did I turn out heterosexual?
I recall watching many an episode of Jem. It was like a train wreck. Just couldn't look away. And don't feel bad, a few of the shows I used to watch are shown on Lifetime and WE (Women's Entertainment). It's no big deal the way I see it. Entertainment is entertainment no matter what form it is in.

As for the hetero part? May not want to go there on these boards. Morrus' Grandma is watching and reading. ;)

Well there are a bunch of cartoons I haven't seen mentioned yet...I don't know if they were shown in the US.

There was a "Ulysees in Space" cartoon, where instead of sailing home he battled his way across the galaxy...nuff said.

Dogtanion (One for all and all for one! Muskahounds are always ready!) which was The Three Musketeers with dogs...

Cities of Gold, man, how can none of you remember that? It felt like it went on for years!

I'm sure there are more...

MASK was my absolute favourite though. I had so many toys, jeez...

Kidd Video! That's the one. Damn that was a messed up show.

Can't forget Garfield and Friends of course. Heathcliff, Jem and the Rockers, the X-Men cartoon (my first indoctrination to comic book characters, my sister and I taped the first episode and watched it so many times we knew it by heart).

Bloodbath - really? I might just have to take your advice :)

Just remember Gummi Bears and Smurfs too

Gummi Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears! Bouncing here and there and everywhere. High adventure that's beyond compare. They are the Gummi Bears!

Dashing and Daring, courageous and caring, faithful and friendly... something something I forgot the lyrics... :p
