D&D 5E [OOC] Uller's Out of the Abyss

I'm not much of a strategist, but a distraction seems like a good idea regardless. Could be as easy as one of us starting an argument or just screaming.

Well, screaming or singing or whatnot would likely lose us surprise. Orsik needs to cast before they suspect anything is going on...hence "surprise." ;)

I think we ought to just let him do it quietly.

How 'bout this. If someone wants to make a persuasion or deception check to draw their attention that will allow Orsik to make the SoH check with advantage regardless of how well the knot was tied (we still need to check that it was tied well enough that he can slip it though).

But...if you fail by 5 or more or roll a nat 1 then you alert them to trouble and lose surprise.

Eh, Persuasion/Deception check gives them a chance to roll well against us. Our sticky-fingered prince has +7 on tying the knots and advantage with Ez helping him. I'd rather just hope he can roll at least an 8 on one of those two tries.

And also a big plus on Persuasion. It could work.

My singing can raise the dead, so that might cause even more problems.

Oh, you mean Erevan's singing? ;)

Hahaha, I was actually thinking something like the vikings' Lo there, do I see my father... type thing. We are as foreign to most of them as they are to us, and I think they might look at it as a curiosity.

But, maybe we can make use of Erevan's crazy Persuasion bonus... ;)

Just posting to say I've got nothing new to say in the IC thread. Somehow I don't feel strongly about whether or not Ezraens action was wise or not.
