It is a dream, or the Senators have win a series ???
I've heard a rumour, about Philadelphia players shooting at the head of Cechmanek during practice, because he would have said things which they would not have at all appreciate. They are insane these Philly ?? Too much big head in this team. Roenick, Recchi, Oates, Primeau, LeClair.... Good Players, but not team players.

Roenick, he really make trouble anywhere he go.

Actually it was an assistant coach who made up the roster (although I can't believe Quinn didn't at least look at it once before hitting the ice ).

The hit on Peca was clean - no elbows, sticks or anything. It was really just bad luck that he got hurt on that one.

The hit on Johannsen - that was a bad one. When I first saw it I thought it didn't seem so bad but the replays showed Johannsen turnign ever so slightly back into Roberts and the speed at which Roberts was coming just crunched poor Johannsen - hope he recovers quickly. Was it suspension worthy? Doubtful.

Well, the best revenge was winning today's game!

Oh, it's a great day for all frustrated Rangers fans...Flyers & Devils are both eliminated!

Well, the best revenge was winning today's game!

Close, but nope. The best revenge comes Monday. After that game, Toothless Joe and the rest of his buddies are done. McLaren won't need to worry about a suspension, and can just come on back to Coaldale and dust off his putter.

Not sure if this has anything to do with anything, but I went out and got me a McFarlane Theodore figure last night and set up a small shrine. I knew he'd have a good game today.

If (when) both the Leafs and Habs win, a Montreal/Boston series will be followed up by a Habs/Leafs series. I think this year's playoffs were scripted...

Grrrrr....


At least the Leafs can wipe out the Isles tomorrow and the Habs can take the Bruins on Monday.

Seriously, while I hated seeing the Canucks lose, Detriot deserves congratulations for a well-played series and a great display of character in coming back from a two game deficit. And good luck with the rest of the playoffs.

I'm an irrational hockey fan and I refuse to give them any credit! They bribed the refs, stole the poor box and ate baby kittens! They're worse than day old bread!
