[OT] I got into law school!

I was offered a $14K scholarship to Seton Hall, but I decided to go with Cardozo. It's going to cost a lot more, but I think it's a much better school that Seton Hall. Cardozo shares a lot of its teachers with Columbia and NYU, and I think it will offer me a much better education than Seton Hall.

Not to mention that huge fires don't break out in Cardozo and kill dozens of students.

Congratulations!

I graduated from Kent in 2000 and currently practice in Chicago. If you want any advice my e-mail (my old Kent one at least) is in my profile.

Just what the world needs ... another lawyer ... just kidding, congrats. :D

But don't you see, that's why it's so hard to get into law! They put the entry scores up so high that not many people can get in...these unis, they know the score.

(At least in oz, this is the case, partially)

Good job, and be thankful it's only 3 years, my cousin is doing it and she will be free in 4 more years (of a five year course)

I too graduated law school in 2000 (from Indiana University - Bloomington) and am in Chicago.

My advice to (prospective) law students is this: Do not listen to anyone who gives you advice!

By that I mean that Law school differs greatly for different people and do not worry about what your neigbhor is doing; concentrate on what _you_ feel needs to be done.

U of I is a great school. John Marshall gives almost everyone a scholorship (draw a conclusion from that, please)... and feel free to ask questions.
