D&D 5E Paladin Predictions

I can see a zealot type witch hunter, and it would fit the paladin mold pretty well. That being, every zealot thinks their cause is just and good, but hardly ever actually is. Ah, fanaticism, you gotta love it

Vengeance is in the PHB. Oathbreaker is the one from the DMG I believe. Oathbreaker was meant to be more of a villain than a player option. Though you can still play it if your DM allows it.

I had them switched in my head. That's what happens when I nor anyone in my group has a desire to play an evil paladin ;)

I have been completely wrong so far except for the kensei monk and the forge cleric, but I would guess a healing paladin and maybe an undead huntier paladin....with necrotic damage....and nothing to actually make it better at hunting undead........you know, like the other undead hunting archetypes form previous UA.
I would like something more in the vein of a witch hunter/ inquisitor type though.

I didn't think it was too likely that they were going to give us another mystic UA, unless they had new subclasses, but it was a possibility. I don't think anyone should get their hopes up for Yet Another UA ranger for Christmas, I think they will go to the rogue.

No, a full 20 level Mystic article got pushed back from the normal November slot; that's definitely in the pipeline...somewhere.

And they said on Twitter they would do subclasses that work for the PHB or the UA Ranger in this current series, so that's the next question: what Ranger archetypes might we see?

A LE themed Paladin somewhat modeled after the "Children of Light" from Wheel of Time would be cool. So not a predication, but hope for a cool Inquisitor style paladin.

I'd like to see a non-evil oathbreaker. Or even just a non-demons and undead oathbreaker. That's a pretty narrow niche for someone who's fall might be "I showed mercy".
