[Pathfinder] Scotley's Kingmaker IC continued.

Pixie swings wildly, and ineffectually, at the giant tick.

Having had time to line up his attack, Liam leans into his thrust and sends his blade plunging towards the gnashing mandibles of the fearsome tick. Kill the beast and send their leader sprawling in the mud! The creature shudders in pain from the fearsome wound.

Rhote fires off another fire jet, this time it is aimed at the giant tick, however. "This just continues to get more disgusting each time." The flame spreads across the tick causing it to chitter excitedly and dance about.

Brondelleon gets a twinkling light in his eyes as he cocks his head as to hear something. He smiles as he whispers something toward the noble man, Prince Liam. "we are sure you can save us, my prince"

Kyria fires another arrow at the tick, then backs up to try to keep some distance between herself and the front lines!

The Mite leader slides off the back of the tick and retreats a bit as it starts to thrash about trying to put out the flames. The hard surface seems not be particularly flamable as the flames go out.

The other Mites attack with daggers or thrown darts, but none of them find the mark.

OOC: Actions for all please.
Reflex Save (1d20+2=19)
Mite attacks (1d20+2=13, 1d20+2=19, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=6)

Pixie flails around with her axes a bit more, getting in one somewhat effective blow. Nerves get the better of her though and the scout retreats a step from the tick. Being one choice of morsel in three is bad enough. Being one in two is more than she can handle.

OOC: One hit in four and it could not even be above average damage, :\ .Attacks: 1d20+3=18, 1d6+2=4, 1d20+3=7, 1d6+2=7 . 5' step SW. On the plus side, if Liam back up to we draw them into a three wide instead of four and Rhote has a clear shot at the tick and leader this turn again.

OOC: Just want to confirm that Rhote is allowed to put his arm over Liam's shoulder and release his fire jet without burning his brother? If so, looks like I have a chance to toast a tick and mite chief at one time...

OOC: Works for me. I'm pretty sure not roasting one's friends and family members is a required part of Magic101.

Rhote steps behind Liam and says, "I'm going for the ol' turn and burn over your shoulder hear, brother."

Rhote moves slightly to the right around Liam's sword arm and let's loose with a jet of flame. He aims for a line through both mite chief and tick.

1d6+1=3

OOC: 3 damage. Think this is the fourth time I used it since the cave.

- Damage: 1d6+1 Fire, DC: 15 Reflex Save for half, Failed Save results in 1d6 points of fire damage a round until extinguished by making a full round action and DC 15 Reflex Save. Rolling on the ground gives a +2 circumstance bonus on the save. Dousing the creature with water automatically extinguishes the flame. Can use this ability a 7 times a day.

Inspired by his ally's invocation, Liam steps forward with an intimidating shout. In the limited confines of the burrow he can't swing his sword fully, so he lunges forward with arm outstretched like a fencer. His blade catches the light from his half-brother's flames and gleams menacingly as it pierces his foe!

OOC: Liam will stab the tick, unless it is dead, in which case he will 5' step forward to go for the leader.
Prince Liam attack (-2 doom, +2 blessing) (1d20+4=18, 1d8+3=7)

OOC: Still waiting on two...
OOC: oh, uh . . .v.

"Right, Prince Liam! just like the Fey lord of shernacht forest at the battle of vërrock where he defeated the forrod taam of grenelth!"

The druid recalls a story passed on through his leaders to tell as a bedtime story to the youngest of druid initiates.

Kyria fires another arrow into the fray!

[roll0] to hit for [roll1] damage.

(Targeting tick, or one of the nonleaders if the tick is down.)

It takes all your efforts combined to bring down the horrible tick, but with Kyria's arrow the tick goes down. Flames still dance on the shell from Rhote's magic. The Chieftain is also afire and he steps back to beat out flames on his chest and shoulders. One of his underlings assists him, though it almost looks as if the fellow is enjoying the chance to smack his chieftain a few good clouts, more than he actually wants to put out the fire. The remaining Mite's are unable to get in an effective blow, perhaps because they are so dismayed at their ill luck in this battle.

OOC: Actions?
