"Aye," Jorad replied, "we'll see the Queen's guard." The Ogier began following the beggar, slowing his long strides so as to not outpace the human.

Dawn turns to the rest of the group, "Well, are you coming or not?" She then turns and walks with Jorad.

Sivak disappeared sometime after the parade, so Elinas accompanies Jorad, Dawn, and the beggar.

The hunched form of the beggar, lurching slightly as he shambles ahead of you, leads you away from the Golden Stag. You head up the street, in through the massive city gate, and up the boulevard some five hundred feet or more. Signs of the parade lie everywhere, in the debris strewn across the streets and banners hanging from windows. You turn down a side street crowded close with shops and homes three, four, and sometimes even five stories tall. Though the city remains crowded, the throngs are nowhere near as dense as they were earlier, and you easily make you way through the remaining bustle, past merchants and townspeople, transients and refugees.

The beggar stops before a plain building, marked only by a crimson banner of Andor hanging from an upper window. "Here is the officer you seek," he says, motioning toward the open door. Inside, you can see a soldier in crimson tabard sitting at a table in a small room.

"You are the ones from the Golden Stag?" he asks. "C'mon in - the captain wants to talk to ya."

Elinas prepares to listen to the Guard Captain, wondering what business he might offer...

The guardsman leads you through a door at the back of the small antechamber.

It takes you a moment before you realize that you are in an empty storage room and that no guard captain is present. Three men in the garb of common ruffians leap from the corners and begin attacking you with swords and clubs. The "guardsman" draws his weapon and joins them.

Looking over your shoulder, you see two more heavies have blocked your escape by coming down some stairs into the antechamber. The beggar is nowhere to be seen.

Everyone describe your general actions for the fight. In order to move the story along, I am going to narrate some of lesser skirmishes.

Jorad will unsling his axe and swing away until his foes surrender. If any allies are severaly wounded during the fight, he will move to protect them with his reach.

Darkwolf

First Post
Dawn will draw her dagger and defend herself, trying to get to some cover to bring the Source online.

If she can do that, she'll start throwing the ruffians around with arms of air.

Thanks for the game while it lasted. I'll lock this thread. If someone needs it opened for some reason, let me know.
