From his seat at the bar, a young man listened to the conversation. An Ogier, the voice oddly familiar, a young woman and a fellow Ebou Dar.
Elinas turned, showing the face of a man that had found sleep a fleeting beast as of late. Sporting a small goatee and thin mustache, observing the room with brown eyes, Elinas took in the scene.
'Aye, friend, (this to the Ebou Dari) what news from Home? Tis been a few years since I was last there.'
Elinas wore a grey vest over a light yellow shirt, with Grey breeches and black boots. A Slim Rapier (plain yet looking like it had seen quite a lot of service), several knives and a small buckler seemed his only arms. The spurs on his boots indicated a horse (and most likely possessions elsewhere), and he looked well-fed, or at least as if he had had access to sizable quantities of Ale recently.
'Friend...Sivak, was it?' Elinas eyes seem as if he is pondering something deeper,'I have had much in the way of Wine in my years, might I inquire as to your father's Wares? What Winery does he run, eh?'
Elinas smiles warmly, plainly comforted by the thought of Ebou Dari Vintage.
'Do you Folk mind if I join you as well?'

After paying for her room and meal, Dawn will walk over near the fireplace. "Do you mind if I sit here? I'm rather chilled from my journey and would like to sit by the fire until my food arrives."

"Aye it is my fathers, Four Inns Winery, CO. though alas my fellow, this wine has lost its luster. I would be far to wrong to serve you such surely you would want something more of an exquisite pallate" Sivak smiles to his countryman warmly " Perhaps a sampling of the Queens summer wine, I happen to have a bottle....?"

To the woman " Aye, m'lady have my seat as it is warm and the company you'd keep while residing thus would make you better for it" Sivak says pointing towards Jorad." and Sivak moves to sit closer to his fellow countryman.

'That would be excellent, but you must allow me to treat tonight as we sample the possibilities of this town, I am sure that there is plenty of good drink hiding about somewhere.'

"Aye, and let us hope its better than my poor fathers ailing fare" Sivak smiles companionably. Catching the eye of one of the prettier maids he requests the that she bring her favorite ale and join him and his countryman for a drink on his pocket.

Dawn listens to the chatter around the room as she quietly eats the standard fare of the bar. She pays closer attention to those around the fire. She also keeps an eye out for any forgotten weaves that may happen to be in place.

The festive chatter of the crowd is silenced by an angry shout. Two men, one in red and another white, are closing upon one another as one of Master Ferrin's toughs moves to break up the fight.

"Only a coward turns his back on his Queen!" the man in red cries.

"Burn me, you'lll eat those words!" replies the man in white, as he reaches for his dagger.

But before the fight joins, a bouncer grabs the man. The furious combatant struggles to turn his knife on the tough, but before he can draw blood the powerful bouncer hurls the man at the stable wall. He crashes against a shed door, tumbling through it as it splinters apart, to land in a heap on the floor within.

There's a gasp from the hushed crowd, but the unconscious man in white is no longer the focus of attention. For within the shadows of the shed, a dark form is shifting. Taller than a man by half, its bestial head swings toward the open door. Light glints off monstrous fangs, and disturbingly human eyes survey the crowd as a low growl emerges from its throat.

The creature brandishes a crude, carving sword and steps toward the doorway. Behind it, more such creatures stire in the darkness.
