Pimp my Pixie

Onto the more crunchy stuff.

Stats: 32 pt buy
Str - Low
Dex - High (AC, Touch attacks, etc)
Con - Medium (Enough HP to hopefully not die in one hit)
Int - Low
Wis - Medium
Cha - High (Casting stat for both Spell Thief and Warlock, UMD, etc.)

At level ten he would have an additional 2 ability points from levels. Does this seem about right for his stat layout?

Feats: 4 feats from Class levels plus Weapon Finesse and Dodge from racial feats.

So what I got so far is - Pixie Warlock 10/Spell Thief 10 - CR 14

Stats - after racial adjustments and level based ability points
Str 6 (-2)
Dex 24 (+7)
Con 14 (+2)
Int 14 (+2)
Wis 12 (+1)
Cha 26 (+8) - 4th and 8th level points

Still don't know what to do for his 4 feats, was thinking going Fey Heritage but they aren't that good imo, I could be wrong tho.

Other abilities from race:
SR 25
DR 10/Cold Iron
Greater Invis at will
Spell-like abilities
Fly 60' (Good)

As far as magic items go, he can't hold much but I will probably use the MIC's new NPC wealth to give him some fun items to use.

Thoughts so far?

Well, Ability Focus (Eldritch Blast) is good times if you want to lean towards the debilitating Eldritch Essence invocations.

Metamagic Spell Like Ability feats are also good for a Warlock.

Flyby attack would work out really nicely as well, especially if you increase your movement somehow.

If your wisdom was one point higher you could use the combat focus series of feats in the players handbook 2. That would allow the little guy to stand up to a fight a little better. Combat focus, combat vigor, and combat stability would allow him to resist on will saves much better, get some hit points back (plus the fall back warlock healing), and resist grapples with an extra +8!

I am sorry, I forgot the base attack bonus requirement for combat vigor. You would have to replace your first leve in one of the two classes with a level of something will full base attack bonus. I would suggest ranger for the bonus track feat or one of the tome of battle classes mainly for the stance.

I will take a look at these when I get back home where all my books are :) Only brought 3 of them with me to research the next segment of my campaign. What exactly do the Combat focus feats do?

Combat focus is the primer for itself and the others. When you first make an attack of some sort it turns on and it grants you +2 to your will saves for about 10 rounds. It increases to +4 when you get three different feats from this tree.

Combat vigor grants fast healing while combat focus is active and combat stability gives you extra reistance against bull rush, grapple, trip, and a few others.

They seem perfect for a hit and run guy who does not want to be slowed down and likes his abilities to be useable all day long. :)

I'm a big fan of Improved Flight when it will take your good fly speed to perfect. Makes movement a lot easier to deal with, too.

That was another feat I had been definately looking into.

On a side note, which invocations would be best for the pixie? I want him to really be able to screw around with the party, in a way that will really piss them off :D

Wow those sound like alot of fun :D Definately in the theme of this character! I can easily change around stats a bit to get the prereqs and maybe add a few levels as I don't know exactly when the party will be encountering this guy.

Marshal auras work on the user, too, you know. A single dip level in Marshal, if you're not subject to XP penalties somehow, would let you permanently take your Cha bonus as a bonus to one thing of your choosing. ("Dex checks, Dex skills, and initiative rolls" is a good one.)
