Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Jack in the Box was my favorite in the western half of the US.
When my wife and I were pursuing our graduate degrees in Hawaii, we moved four times. Jack in the Box was our go-to moving day lunch--we'd even put the Jack-in-the-Box antenna ball on our car's antenna as some stupid ritual. I always got the sour dough patty melts. I don't think I've ever seen a Jack-in-the-Box in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
The waffle fries were bad? Unusual.
I’ve never had an enjoyable waffle fry.
🤷🏾‍♂️
Yeah, I never cared for their waffle fries either. As much as I love potatoes in other form, never been a big fry fan. My favorite fried remain MacDonald's fries, fresh out of the fryer, with lots of ketchup. My second favorite fried potatoes are frozen tater tots from CostCo fried in the air fryer, again with lots of ketchup. I guess I have low-brow tastes when it comes to fried potatoes. I learned to make baked potato wedges that I (and my guests) really enjoy, but I've been disappointed so often at restaurants that I never order potato wedges when I eat out.

I'm not going to say White Castle is the best burger ever, but it's the only place I know where eating 30 burgers is so normal that it's a standard menu item.

Also, White Castle turkey stuffing is amazing.
I love White Castle. If there were any close to me, I'd hit it up regularly. I don't really consider it a burger place though. :-)
It stands alone as its own thing.
It's absolutely this. I'm the sole member of the household that isn't fond of Raisin Canes ( I don't actively dislike them - I never crave it... ) but everyone that does is either still in the "everything is too spicey" age or loves the sauce.

It's not a bad sauce.
That's what my son said when he was excited about discovering it and it became his favorite place. It's...okay. I didn't yuck on his yum, but inside I have to admit to thinking my son needed to grow up and expand his tastes. I'm happy to say his current girlfriend has done so and got him over being such a picky, unadventurous eater. Parents can't compete with girlfriends. I'm glad he's dating someone who gets him to try new things.

Not really worth a separate thread, but I'm curious, and figure I'll post my idle question to the fine people riding the Pineapple Express.

What are your views and practices regarding editing your own posts, after you post them, on EN World?

I will frequently correct typos if I discover them right after posting. I don't know why I seem unable to edit before I post. It feels weird, but I've edit posts I've made months or even years ago if I happen to come across them again and notice a typo. I don't bother making an end note that I've done so.

If I make a substantive change, especially if do to a change of mind on a particular topic, then I will make a note that I changed it.

I like how some other forum platforms will, when you edit a post, present you with a field explaining the reason for the edit. EN World doesn't do this and I always feel like I'm committing a venial sin when I edit after posting. :)

I’ll edit typos and grammar but not change the substance of a post. Any time I find it, I’ll fix it. Doesn’t matter how old the post. I feel bad about making the initial error, but never about fixing it later.

As time goes by, I find myself going for comfortable food food over the chance of great food. There's a real Jersey diner we really like, most of the menu items are good. The French Onion Soup is great, and I don't even like onions but I get it all the time. The steak is good, too; it's no Flo's Filet (from Longhorn) but if we don't want to make a separate trip, it's good enough.

I prefer that over trying dozens of different restaurants; that's a young man's game. I'm old and tired of making decisions.

Inspired by another recent thread...

"I don't like how they handled the Jesus's Prayer in Gethsemane in the final episode of season 5 of The Chosen --"

"SPOILERS!"

Mostly this, but sometimes I get an esprit d'escalier moment right after posting and edit the post to add additional stuff. I pretty much always mark that though. Something like "Edit: Just thought of bla bla bla"
