Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I honestly think some of you would fall to the ground and cry if you were limited to the same choices i have:

For pizza I have:
Little Caesars
Dominos
Pizza Hutt

Burgers:
Burger King
McDonald's
Wendy's

Chicken:
KFC
Popeyes

Other:
Taco bell
Starbucks

Only two grocery stores:
Small Walmart (not labeled a super center)
Finn's

It's easy to be snobbish when you have choices 😭
Except for the grocery stores being an option, this sounds about as bad as someone trapped on a turnpike somewhere they can only eat at service plazas. But even then it feels like they might have mediocre fast food Chinese as a choice. I am so sorry. :-(

I was going to say it sounds a lot like what I grew up around, but even then there was always a Chinese place somewhere and a few gas stations selling fried chicken (side note: this is usually fantastic chicken)

How is it your hometown has no locally owned eateries? I lived in Manhattan, KS for a while, and even there, we had some non-chain options.

Granted, that’s not a guarantee of any kind. When I was there, we had 2 Chinese restaurants: a good one and a very bad one.

We’ve got a place around here called Ledo Pizza which is just god awful. I’ve always said i can eat pretty much any pizza but this one really pushes it for me. Crust is like cracker thin, sauce is sweet and kind of oniony at the same time (not an appealing combo). Probably the worst chain pizza I’ve ever had.
Can’t say I’ve had the pleasure, but there IS a hipster-famous pizzeria (with 2 locations) that has cracker-thin, cracker crunchy crust.

Did not appeal.

We also have a pizzeria that was on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. I haven’t been back to give them a second chance, though.

Second suggested article telling me turmeric supplements are going to kill me?

Brother, I've been taking 500mg a day for years. Please.

Next you are going to tell me Caffeine causes health complications.
