Those particular style of potatoes are also very rare to find at food joints in my experience. I can think of one local restaurant that offers them, and--Shakey's. Its honestly the only reason to eat at Shakey's IMO.

I was glad when my kids moved beyond begging to go there to play at the extremely OK arcade, sticking us with pizza that wouldn't be our first choice by any means.

Dave & Buster's isn't great as an adult entertainment venue, IMO, but it's perfect for kids early in the day before the drunken sports fans take over.

Maybe it is just impossible to read any thread without coming away with a distaste, if not for pizza itself, than anyone who talks about eating it, no matter how they prefer it.

We are talking about the worst places to get pizza in America. The list should really be least worst and then folks can quibble about the details from there.

Quite sadly, where I live the local pizza joints mostly barely rise above Little Caesar's level. The tandoori pizza place whips but everything else is just sad, and sometimes I want a traditional pizza, and Domino's has an awesome stuffed crust all-meat that would make my doctor weep. Especially since Round Table just cratered over the past decade.

The best choice will always be Papa Murphy's but sometimes I don't want to wait for 40 minutes to bake a stuffed pizza.

I had no idea that there was a patent fight (that had a movie about it) about the Hut's stuffed curst pizza in 1995. And I had forgotten the current White House denizens were in a commercial for Hut's stuffed crust when it came out.

Well, to be fair, one of these was created a man who claimed he was taught how to do it by a ghost from the "other world", and the other deals with nutirition.
