Somehow that picture smells amazing and sounds horrible.

I upvoted this, but I’m not actually a fan of biscuits & gravy.

Now, even though I’m from NOLA, I’ve lived in Texas most of my life. So I’ve had biscuits & gravy that were highly recommended and critically acclaimed. And I simply didn’t care for them…or more accurately, that kind of gravy. A brown gravy of some kind would appeal to me MUCH more. Maybe a mushroom gravy.

But if my gravy choices are limited to the traditional, I’m just going to ask for butter- maybe with honey, if available.

I like my cornbread ranging from salty to slightly sweet. So butter or butter & a drizzle of honey, depending on the character of the cornbread itself.
