The flip side is The Game Is Perfect Guy.

Me: This is the sort of game I don't enjoy.
TGIPG: You must be the problem because the game is perfect.

Me: And this other game is what works for my group.
TGIPG: That's not possible, that game is trash because it's different from the perfect game.

Me: I'm really excited about this project because it's not that one game.
TGIPG: Stop lying to people, we all know that game is perfect.

Etc.

Don't be The Game Is Perfect Guy, either.
And heaven help you if you mention a minor problem you encountered with the perfect game and how you got around it.

Put them both on ignore, and threads are far shorter and far less dopey.
LOL. This place would be a ghost town.

Right? There's no problem with the game, the game is perfect, therefore the problem is you.

A person could die hit by a car while riding their bicycle, just 2 minutes after going back at age 6. Different choices lead to different outcomes. Growing older is a privilege not a right.
Worth the risk for some, I'm sure. I have a friend who lost both of her parents when she was 9 years old. Changed the course of her life. Would be tough for her to not think about trying to alter the course of that bit of history....

I think the obviousness of the choice is going to be related to how badly you think you screwed up your life, and how much of that you think you could avoid.
I have messed my life up pretty badly, and I think some of that could have been avoided pretty easily, but going back to 6 year old me still sounds like hell. I wouldn't take that option even if it was the only one.

Fair enough, but if it's the money that's swaying you...it would be trivial for a 6-year-old with adult intellect and the ability to predict the future to make far more than $10 million.
