It legit feels like living inside a spy novel trying to decode some of the things people say.

I just want people to be upfront and explicit. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Apparently that’s too much to ask.

Not that I know whether a professional would consider me neurotypical, but I think you give those who are too much credit. Based on the never-ending cycle of pedantry and personal affronts here between presumed neurotypicals...most of us don't know what the secret codes are either.

Same. I'm truly sorry things are hard for you. I wish I could say that they were easier for everyone else, but I'm not entirely sure they are.
